The pamphlet should be on a topic of interest to you and should be something you can use in your clinical/professional practice. I have several goals that will be met by the project. They include:
allow you to apply your knowledge of physiology to a real life situation
explain physiological concepts in an easy to understand manner
increase your ability to work with Microsoft Word, Publisher or a similar program to create an informational pamphlet.
So pick a topic that may be of interest to you and your clients/patients. An example might be strength training. In your pamphlet you would explain the physiology of strength training in a way that your clients could understand. This would be followed with an explanation of how exercise might be prescribed to increase strength. The final section will give some sample protocols/progressions that could be used by the client. The hope is that by reading your pamphlet the client would have a better understanding of the topic and be motivated to achieve the goals you set for him/her. You do not need to use this template to complete this project, but it will give you an idea of what I am looking for.
