Inclusion criteria for participation included a nursing diploma or higher nursing degree and more than one year of experience in the field. The method used to collect data was a survey design, assessing participating nurses’ perceptions of burnout, job satisfaction, quality of care provided, and nursing turnover. The survey concluded that job satisfaction plays a role in decreasing nurse turnover, and interventions to enhance conditions will ultimately reduce the number of nurses frequently changing job positions and leaving the profession altogether.
