Looking for Love. Find 2 personal ads* from dating site (warning! some of these ads may be offensive). Use the concepts that you learned from Chapter 8 and Buss’s article on sex differences in mate preference (evolutionary theory of attraction) to analyze the personal ads. Find one ad that demonstrates evolutionary theory of attraction. Find a second ad that demonstrates social exchange theory. Discuss how your ads reflect these respective theories.
Provide examples. Make sure you copy and paste the ads into the Word document that you submit via turnitin. (approximately 1½ pages, typed and double spaced, not including ads or references)
*Personal ads are advertisements that people use to find dates. They usually describe themselves and what they are looking for in a relationship.
