We have been analyzing how Martin Luther King Jr. responds to the statement by eight clergymen after his imprisonment in Birmingham Jail. We will be using his letter as a model for the Correspondence Project. You will be writing a letter that addresses a specific audience and makes an argument. For Post 3, please identify a “statement” that you will respond to. This could be an article, a speech, a mission statement, or a video by a specific person that you would like to address and provide the URL (if possible). After you have identified your statement, write an approximately 200-word post that answers the following questions in a paragraph:
What is the argument made in the statement?
Do you agree, disagree, or agree and disagree with it?
What will convince your intended audience of your stance?
Remember to include the URL for your chosen statement
Post 3 is due by 10:00 pm Tuesday, 6/21, and will be graded according to the criteria in the syllabus.
