Discuss the role of boundaries in the therapeutic relationship. Using Box 4.5 in your Wheeler text, which item(s) do you feel are the most likely to alert you to the signs of counter-transference.
How do you feel this might be a challenge for you?
I don’t have access to the textbook with the box (Wheeler). Even so, the text book points out the signs of counter transference in a patient therapist relationship.Two of the signs is expressing anger at the patient and seeing the person socially outside of the office (which you must incorporate in your discussion).
