Identify an individual affiliated with a data collection site that you might use for your DNP project.
Select 2 areas of focus that you feel are most relevant for assessing the organization or individual.
Include ethics as a third area of focus for the assessment.
Choose a cultural assessment tool developed from a theory that has been addressed in this week’s readings. Examples include, but are not limited to, tools developed from the theories proposed by Leininger, Purnell, Giger and Davidhizar, and Campinha-Bacote.
Note: If you would prefer to use a certain theory, please submit a request to your faculty member through a classroom-based personal message by Thursday of Week 3.
Interview the individual representing a DNP project sample member whom you feel could provide you with the information you need for your assessment. The interview questions should be based on the chosen cultural assessment tool and related to the 3 areas of focus.
Compare and summarize in 500 words the information that the individual provides you with to scholarly publications related to their individual culture.
