A short research paper (3-4 pages) in APA style and citing at least 3 professional resources, on a process addiction.
The Process Addiction Research assignment will have the following components: Your written summary should include an introductory overview of the process addiction you chose to show your research: Shopping Addiction
1)What the research has taught you about what clients might experience.
2)Your findings of what treatments are most commonly used and what treatments are found to be most beneficial (these categories may overlap, or current treatment being used may not reflect the most up to date).
3)A section on what this treatment looks like in your local community (San Diego/North Park). Research local resources and treatment facilities as if your client lived in your community and wanted treatment. Include analysis of how these supports/modalities of treatment should/should not be integrated into your fictional client’s treatment and relapse plan.
