I work in labor and delivery and I have encountered several intrauterine fetal demises and miscarriages. The case I would like to discuss is the care of a 32 wk primagravida with twin pregnancy. One twin was IUFD and the other was still alive.The patient and family were spanish peaking only, I am bilingual. The patient opted for a vaginal delivery vs c-section per her provider recommendation, it was a tough vaginal delivery. I was at bedside when the rest of the family found out about the in utero fetal death. it was a very emotional situation. I was caring for not only the patient but also helping the family. I reached out to a deacon at out hospital and was able to make arrangement to have a priest come to bedside for a blessing. I also coordinated communication between the patient and the priest after discharge to have the same priest over see the burial of the demised twin. this is the case I want to incorporate in this essay. The theoretical model I find most relevant to this clinical scenario is Jean Watson Theory of Human Caring.

Discuss the concepts from the model and how they integrate into the case as it unfolds. Describe the relationships among the model concepts. This is where the bulk of your paper should be focused. Be sure to be clear and logical in the sequencing of your message.
Briefly summarize the paper. Give special attention to the applicability of the model to practice.
