watch the documentary 70 Acres in Chicago Cabrini Green:
One major theme of the documentary concerns the displacement of families and individuals that grew-up and lived in the Cabrini Green community, as well as the development of new housing and how access to new housing was determined.
Page 1: Discuss how each of the four levels-of-analysis played a role in this displacement and access. For example, what role did individuals play, what role did home/school/or work play, what role did the neighborhood/community play, and what role did society play (10 pts).
– Please devote an equal amount of page 1 to each level-of-analysis.
Page 2: Identify the level that you believe played the biggest role, discuss why you believe this level was the most important, and then discuss an intervention at that level that you believe would have improved the situation for those involved. (10 pts)
